ABOUT CAMPBELL GERRISH, LIFE COACH

Growing up in a loving, high-achieving family is a privilege for which I’m deeply grateful. My path in life was seemingly clear, and success in a traditional business career seemed like a done deal for me.

However, one night in New York City, doing paperwork, I felt like I had a mini-heart attack, and that signal woke me up. I was 26 years old.

From that moment forward, I set out on a path that has been eye-opening for me from the beginning and becomes more exciting as I continue. I expected to settle down and create a life that was similar to what I saw my friends and family do in my hometown. It turned out that my expectations did not fit with my soul’s deepest calling. So I went out on an adventure. That adventure has now spanned 20 years.

Forging my own path has included risks and explorations that have been surprising and inspiring to me along the way. I went out into the wilderness to learn about resilience; I worked with respected transformational coaches to hone my skills of inner work; I trained at some of the toughest gyms in the country to discover what is possible beyond the limits of resistance. 

Over the past 20 years during my own process of growth, the way forward has not always been clear and at times the going has been tough. However, through it all I have been glad to discover that it is possible to build an authentic life, to lean into what matters most to you, and to experience life as a continual unfolding of a gift that gets more exciting and deep as you go.
